  6. Make sure chicken is completely cooked, tossing a second time. Add half a cup of water if sauce is too salty. :)

Add the broccoli, red pepper and green onions and put the lid back on for five minutes. Most of your veggies you will just want to cut into small pieces and let steam in the hot dish after it has finished cooking. The rice cooker should have switched to warm by now. If not, remove steamer basket with chicken and broccoli and keep warm while rice finishes. Mix together the soy sauce, orange and honey.
