  5. In a kadai add ghee add fennel seeds, cumin seed, onion, green chilli, cashew nuts.
  6. Add the pound ginger and garlic paste
  7. Peel off the skin and grate fresh turmeric into the kadai
  8. Add the grated carrot add salt once the carrot is half cooked
  9. Add cumin powder, garam masala, chili powder
  10. Close the kadai with lid and cook the carrot on medium low flame for 10 minutes
  11. Add coriander leaves and give it quick mix
  12. Add the cooked rice and gently mix everything add ghee
  13. Serve the carrot rice hot with boondi or onion raita

Not sure what I did wrong but it was terrible! The minced ginger was crunchy and inedible and I thought the whole thing.
